AdjusterPro Pricing and Features

AdjusterPro offers a variety of pricing and package options for their courses, depending on the location, type of course, and the level of support that you may need.

AdjusterPro breaks down the courses according to states that are non-licensing, exam prep, pre-licensing, exemption, and state exam categories.

Non-Licensing States

There are states that do not offer an insurance adjuster license. The non-licensing states are listed below:

  • Colorado
  • Illinois
  • Iowa
  • Kansas
  • Maryland
  • Massachusetts (licenses appraisers)
  • Missouri
  • Nebraska
  • New Jersey
  • North Dakota
  • Ohio
  • Pennsylvania (licenses appraisers)
  • South Dakota
  • Tennessee
  • Virginia
  • Wisconsin

You can apply for a Designated Home State (DHS) license if you want to work as an insurance adjuster outside of these states. If you are planning to work in a licensing state, like California or New York, then you can just get the CA or NY license respectively.

For a further look at the license requirement of each state, check out our state-specific guide on adjuster licensing.

Exam Prep States

There are licensing states that require you to pass the state exam as you work towards getting your home state license.

The licensing states are as follows:

  • Alaska
  • California
  • Connecticut
  • Delaware
  • Hawaii
  • Idaho
  • Kentucky
  • Louisiana
  • Maine
  • Michigan
  • Minnesota
  • Montana
  • Nevada
  • New Hampshire
  • New Mexico
  • New York
  • North Carolina
  • Oregon
  • Rhode Island
  • South Carolina
  • Utah
  • Vermont
  • Washington
  • West Virginia
  • Wyoming

While there is no pre-licensing education requirement in these states, it is a good idea to take AdjusterPro’s exam prep courses to prepare for the exam.

Check out AdjusterPro’s Exam Prep Packages (starts at $179).

Pre-Licensing States

AdjusterPro offers pre-licensing courses to states that provide licensing to insurance adjusters. These states have an education course that must be completed before registering for their state exam. They all have pre-licensing exams or practice exams that must be completed before being able to register for the state exam. Other than the education requirement, these states function the same as the exam prep states.

Along with the exam prep states, these pre-licensing states include:

  • Georgia
  • Indiana
  • Mississippi

Check out AdjusterPro’s Pre-licensing Packages, which also include the exams (starts at $199).

Exemption States

Exemption states mean that when you take an education course and course exam together, you will be exempted from the state exam.

These exemption states include:

  • Arizona
  • Arkansas
  • Florida
  • Texas

According to AdjusterPro, Florida and Texas are the most straightforward. The cost for Florida starts at $299, while the cost for Texas starts at $279. AdjusterPro offers all of the learning modules (approximately 40 hours) and then scores a 70% or higher on the final exam at the end of the course. You can have as many attempts as you need until you pass the course exam with no additional fees.

Once you score a 70+ and submit your signed (and for Texas, notarized) affidavit of witness, you will be issued a certificate of completion and you can apply for your license.

AdjusterPro also partnered with proctoring companies, such as Proctor Free (Florida) and Respondus (Texas), to ensure hassle-free proctoring and notarization at no additional cost.

Arkansas is similar except that the exams are purchased in groups of three. The cost starts at $379. You can have three attempts to pass the course exam. If you don’t pass after the third, you can buy three more for $100.

Arizona allows for unlimited attempts like Texas and Florida but there are additional steps if you want to get your license through an exemption. The cost starts at $299. You will need to complete 24 hours of CE every 24 months. If you pass the exam instead of completing a designation course, AZ does not require taking CE courses.

State Exam States

AdjusterPro provides the state exam for Alabama. This functions similarly to the Florida and Texas process, however, they charge $75 for every attempt.

The first attempt is included in the price of the course, which starts at $379. Alabama also has a mandatory waiting period after your second and fourth attempts. If you do not pass after your second attempt, you must wait 90 days to take the exam a third time.

If you do not pass after your fourth overall attempt, you must wait 180 additional days before your fifth overall attempt.

AdjusterPro’s Xactimate Training

In addition to the state-specific courses, AdjusterPro offers Xactimate training courses to help insurance adjusters learn how to use this popular estimating software. Xactimate is a software program used in the insurance industry to estimate repair and rebuilding costs for property damage. The training course costs between $275 and $375.

Xactimate training provides hands-on training and practice exercises to help adjusters learn how to use the software effectively. The course covers topics such as creating and modifying estimates, sketching and diagramming property layouts, and using the software’s advanced features.

The program is a three-night course delivered in live webinar format. It includes study materials, such as textbooks and practice exercises, as well as instructor support and guidance.
